Home healthcare service suite includes geriatric cum old age assisted living, elderly companionship, baby care services, new born baby and mother care, long term medical care to improve the quality of life for bed ridden patients, post hospital rehabilitation, palliative cum end of life care nursing.
What is the different category of staff provided by Carepur?
Carepur deal in the organized supply of elderly caretakers cum companions (Level 1), Trained Medical Attendants (Level 2), Qualified Nurses (Level 3) & ICU specialized Nurses (Level 4) on full time as well as visit basis , Physiotherapists (BPT/MPT), Emergency Medical officers ( BAMS/ MBBS) and Consultants on visit basis as per patient needs. Level 1 to level 4 support system can be requested for as low as 1 hr upto 24 hrs basis.

How can Carepur's Home Medical Assistance help in my loved one's Post hospital recovery?
Carepur can help you in providing trained Medical Attendant or Qualified Nurse based on Medical condition of your loved one. You can request starting with couple of hours upto 24 hrs of support system.
Carepur can help you supervise your loved one’s day to day care progress by appointing case manager who is usually a MBBS/ BAMS doctor or an experienced ICU Nurse. Case manager will supervise the activities of medical attendants/ nurses and can always be in touch with your primary physician and will keep them updated about any major changes in medical condition of your loved one.
Carepur can also arrange for Home Visit by reputed Consultant/ Sr Consultant; purely as per patient’s real medical condition.
Carepur can help you by providing best in class physical therapist and/or speech therapist as per recommendations of your physician
Carepur can provide you all medical equipments (on rental basis) as advised by your consultant to make your loved one comfortable at home
Nurses/ Medical attendants are trained enough to handle the acute emergencies and in the best interest of patient, attempt is always made to avoid re-hospitalizations. However, in the hour of emergency, staff on duty in consultation with case manager may decide to get the patient re-admitted as per choice of family spokesperson.
How can Carepur’s Home Medical Assistance help managing long term bed ridden patient?
Carepur can help you in providing trained Medical Attendant or Qualified Nurse based on Medical condition of your loved one. Trained Medical attendants are usually the ideal fit in such situations. You can request starting with couple of hours upto 24 hrs of support system.
If you decide to keep a trained medical attendant, you can request supplementary nursing visits for things like RT change, Urine Catheter change, IV/IM administration etc
Case Manager who is usually an experienced Nurse or physician will remain attached to your loved one and their focus would remain around improving quality of your patient’s life. They will always keep coming back around dietary, behavioral and medical guidelines to make your loved one more and more comfortable.
You can also request for home visits by Doctor or a physiotherapist or medical equipments on rental basis.
Carepur's long term medical care plans are designed keeping in mind your loved one's day to day medical needs and we intend to reduce the re-hospitalizations.
Do Carepur deal in ICU level Nursing Care services?
Currently, we are not taking up cases which require ventilator level of support at home. We do provide specialized nurses who are equipped to handle patients on BiPAP, CPAP, need antibiotic administration, TPN administration, cardiac monitoring, and drug administration through infusion pump.
What is Palliative Care? Do Carepur deal in that?
Palliative care is a specialized area of nursing which deals in the end of life support system. Usually, cancer patients or patients which either take voluntary discharge from hospital or been advised by a doctor to be taken back to home in the event of no further treatment possible in a hospital setup remain beneficiaries of palliative care. Carepur does deal in the supply of specialized nurses who are trained to take care of patient who need palliative care. This includes pain management as per guidelines of oncologist/ physician, IV administration, TPN administration, Oxygen administration, BiPAP/ CPAP as per needs of patient.
Do Carepur supply medical equipments?
Yes, Carepur does provide medical equipments on rental basis. It include mechanical as well as electrical patient beds, air mattress, suction machine, oxygen concentrator, oxygen cylinder, BiPAP, CPAP, DVT Pump etc. Equipments are being supplied for min of 1 month commitment and there is a refundable security deposit being asked for every equipment supplied by us.
Do Carepur Supply Baby sitters/ Nanny as well?
Yes, baby sitter service is a very new service area for us. We are more focused around providing specialized new born baby and mother care services for upto 45 days of new born birth, service suite includes baby oiling/ massaging, baby bathing, counseling of mother for breast feeding, mother light massaging etc.
What is the qualification and job responsibilities of elderly care taker?
Elderly caretakers are specifically trained to take care of bed ridden/ semi bed ridden client’s personal needs. In terms of qualification, they are 8th to 12th passed outs. Job responsibilities of elderly care taker include assistance in various daily living activities like bathing/ sponging, feeding, walking, toileting, oiling/ light massaging, exercise, hospital transfers/ clinical appointments etc.
What is the qualification and job responsibility of elderly companions?
Min qualification of Elderly companion is 8th and many of them are graduates as well. Job responsibilities of elderly companion include spending healthy time with elderly, playing cards/ fun games, accompanying them for nearby parks/ social gatherings, doctor appointments, connecting with their kids over skype/ internet video call etc
Can an elderly Care taker handle an acute emergency?
Elderly caretaker knows how to handle a patient with sudden fall, cardiac arrest from non medico point of view. They can put their sincere efforts to avoid fall and handle an acute emergency only as per guidelines issued to them. In the best interest of patient, they are always advised to call family spokesperson no sooner the incidence occurs and discuss the scope of hospital transfer; if need be.
What is the qualification and job responsibility of trained medical attendant?
Trained medical attendant is min 10th passed out and many of them are graduates as well (Including ANM, MPHW, OT Technicians, BEMS) etc. They have been specifically trained to take care of bed ridden/ semi bed ridden medical requirements. Their responsibilities include personal hygiene of patient, regular bed side assistance, medicine administration as per family/ physician guidelines, Diet administration oral/ through Ryles Tube, oxygen administration, urine catheter care, Ryles Tube Care, active/ passive exercise as per physiotherapist/ physician guidelines; be a patient spokesperson while talking to doctor based on their client's medical condition. Medical attendants are not allowed to do RT replacement, Urine Catheter replacement.
What are the job responsibilities of qualified nurse?
Carepur nurses are trained to handle neo natal, pediatric, neurological, cardiac, renal, orthopedic, psychiatric, cancer and lung dysfunctional cases. While hiring a nurse from Carepur, you can expect her to provide complete bed side care, IV/ IM administration, Oxgyen Administration, BiPAP/CPAP administration, RT feeding, Urine Catheter care, Changing RT/ Urine Cath, tracheotomy care/ suctioning etc. Qualification of Nurse provided by Carepur remains GNM and BSc Nursing

Success of home care model is all based on team work between Family Members and Carepur appointed Caregivers. RESPECT is the most basic benefit that we ask from our clients. Since the staff is there to take care of your loved ones, kindly make sure that they are being treated as good as a family member. Nature of job should nowhere be confused with domestic support workers. Besides, for people working in long shifts (more than 3 hrs); tea and snacks must be served twice a day. Benefit of comfortable stay and food arrangements is reserved for resident based staff. Don’t hesitate to discuss the specifics with care planner during the service initiation time.

Charges for our services range from about INR 300 for couple of hours support to upto INR 7000 per 24 hrs; depending upon the level of care and medical support required.
